Hyosung 250cc (GT250-Comet 2004) Engine Problems!?

My bike locked up on my while driving. I had some moron riding my bike and it supposedly "locked up" on him while driving and crashed. Now it doesn't want to start! I have hooked it to a spare battery just to see if it needed to be jumped. When I turn the key nothing happens no battery surge or a click from the starter. I am not motorcycle literate. ( I don't even know where the oil goes) If it makes a difference it is an 8 cam. I need this bike up and running because it is my only mode of transportation in a desolate countryside!
