I would first suggest to the president to strictly enforce the laws already in place. I would also advice for stricter punishment on business owners who hire illegals. For securing the border I would suggest the national guard to be deployed along the border and have UAV's patrolling the sky. I would also suggest a one month period where illegals could file for citizenship that would detail them to pay a 5,000 dollar fine per illegal for breaking the law then paying the fees for the application be fingerprinted photographed and background check. If their application is accepted and they clear the background check they can obtain a temporary visa in the hope of gaining citizenship. They must learn English and p the citizenship test. If they do not apply in the one month period they will be deported. If their background check doesn't clear they will be deported and if their application is not accepted they will be deported. If they fail the test or do not learn the English language they should be deported.
