What can I learn from this?

I'm 25 years old. I had a friend of over 10 years. We got drunk and went to Taco Bell and he pulled up after placing the order without order confirmation or them telling him to pull around. When we got to the window the asked the clerk to see the manager. The manager on duty was my little brother's friend. He proceeded to ask him for free food and cackle about it in front of him. He told us to pull around and we did. He met us outside with the food he ordered. I offered to pay him for it and he said no it's ok so I said ok. We went to his house and he was upset I thought it was rude he did what he did. I wasn't pestering him about it or trying to make him feel guilty, it just seemed to bother him. So we get upstairs and start eating and he calls me an idiot. "you're an idiot, you don't know the ways of the world." So I called him an , he tells me to get out of his house, I tell him I'm not leaving and we get into a fight. We're no longer friends.
