Do any other Moms find it difficult to..?

Play these imaginary games with your child? It drives me crazy playing with him sometimes. Ok, A LOT of times. I can do it for awhile, then I am so bored with it, I feel like I'm going insane! I feel a lot of guilt, because he's an only child so he doesn't have anyone else to play with while he's at home. (His father feels the same way, but can play longer with him because he's at work all day). I am very attentive to my son's needs, but some of the playing is driving me NUTS! Do any of you feel this way, and what do you do? Thanks!
