Ear ache from wisdom tooth?

One of my wisdom teeth are coming through and im getting ear ache and i think its becasue of my widom tooth. It doesnt hurt all the time but i have had to tak pain killers for it. Do u think i sud see a dentist or will it be ok? Thanx
