I'm a choosy reader, it's even a challenge for me to find books I like, so ppl, please lend a hand?

If you are looking for a bit of fantasy in a historical setting, my recommendation is the Camulod Chronicles by Jack Whyte. It is a retelling of the Arthurian legend with a solid historical slant. There are about nine books in the series. The first book is "The Skystone". There is adventure and romance aplenty. I think you will enjoy it.
