My cds wont work help....?

Im in the processs of puttin cds onto itunes cause i lost alot of my songs whn i got a new laptop......and now my cds dont show up under itunes...then i go to computer and right click on the cd and click open but it tell me to insert a disk into drive E or something like that when theres already a cd in there then ejects my cd.......help??
